hi everyone, i wondered if anyone can help me. I had two credit cards with barclaycard since 1995. However since 2001 i have been on a payment plan paying back £26.19 which i have paid religiously everymonth. I got a phonecall on friday 6th november saying that charges are going to be added onto the account. I spoke to several employees but got no joy. Today i have send my SAR request and basically told them i wanted them to take me to court as it as been 8 years and i just cant cope with it. Would i be able to cancel any charges they have charged onto my 2 accounts. Any help would be appreciated as i am at my wits end.thank you

Thanks slick, i will send a CCA request as well.
I spoke to a representative yesterday and she said because i was 2 days late in making a payment my payment plan has been cancelled and interest will be accruing again on the 2 accounts even though i have paid them for 8 years!!!.
so i i will send a cca request as well and see what happens.
Also, the interest charges on my account since 2001, can they be reclaimed or not as they told me they would not charge me interest.
Get the CCA request off to them pronto, by Rec'd Del'y.
When they reply to your SAR, you can see if any charges have been added to the a/c over the last 6 years. If they have, you can reclaim them along with interest on those charges.
However, you can't reclaim interest which has been added to the a/c in the normal course of business, even if they said they'd not charge interest.
