Barclays not renewing my card after i sent refund request
Hi Guys
Got some bad news in the post today
Instead of a letter from barc saying here is the £300 we owe you (i sent letter with details four weeks ago), i got a letter in the post telling me that they wont be renewing my card (about £1500 bal)
Now im not flush as it is, xmas is next month and i dont even have much spare for that so i dont have the money to pay these guys back yet.
anyone know my options? If i agree to setup some kind of repayment plan do they have to accept as im paying it back? or should i ask for my CCA etc?

hi mate, i was trying to look for some where the card had expired but couldnt see any yet
Ive had it since 2006 and no they haven't put the refund on or responded at all
I was thinking about CCA'ing them and getting my refund and then if they have it and its properly executed ill pay it back but at something like £50/60 a month?
In this respect it wouldnt be too bad as i guess they would have to freeze the interest too?

if they terminate the account the the interest should be terminated too, what will probably happen is that they pass it on to mercers their in house DCA to chase, just ignore their threats and pay what you can when you can
