    Default Grumpy v. Egg

I have sent a first letter to Eggicon in regard of a single premium policy added to a loan started with them in 2004. The premium was in excess of £4,500. I was told at the time that my application stood a better chance of being granted if I took the PPIicon, it was implied that I would not be granted the loan without it.

I will keep you updated as to contact / progress with this.

    Hello mostlygrumpy,

Please read the information in the stickies at the top of the forum there is a lot of useful advice in there and also in the library forums.

The stickies are long but the information will no doubt be of use to you in your claim.

Please do not PM me for advice as it may be sometime before I can respond.

Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.

    Well done on your success.

Are they taking it off your loan or refunding it directly to you?

Have they given you a date to expect the cheque?
