I have a barclaycard which I paid PPI for about 6 to 7 years ago, I cancelled it because I never recalled requesting it and didn't require it because I was self employed. They never refunded me for the payments but cancelled it from then on.

Send a SAR to Barclays and once you get all your statements back, work out how much they owe you and bung your claim in

The SAR is a good start anyway, if you don't have all your BC a/c statements. Send it to Barclays and they should supply data for you for all Barclays and BC a/c's.

Don't know if it's any help, but I was advised that to start the ball rolling, just send in your letter stating why you think you were missold the PPI. They have 8 weeks in which to respond so how much can be added later either when they make an offer or when you have to complain to the Ombudsman.
