Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Can this be construed as an executed copy of the agreement?
I don't trust the banks further than I can throw them, so perhaps I am being suspicious, but why have they copied the first page of the application so that their signature part is missing?
It has to be said that the first and second pages of the application were on one A4 page.
Hi Harrassed,
Silly me!!
I have now corrected at 1.
This is the alleged "agreement" http://i343.photobucket.com/albums/o.../Lynne-FD1.jpg
I fully intend fighting this case as I already have HSBC nearing court as I have claimed over £3500 in charges.

Hi H09,
It wouldn't surprise me if they weren't learning from their early errors and they have cobbled this together.
This is for my wifes account and she keeps most correspondence, so I am going to trawl through it all and hopefully might find the proper application form that is hopefully different from what they have sent!

Hi all,
Another point for some of you cleverer people.
My wife owed approx £1500 on her credit card.
FD amalgamated this debt with what she owed on her current account in the form of Fixed Sum Loan Agreement. This agreement looks quite sound for FD as far as the cca Act goes.
She now only owes £1600 on this agreement and they have charged her £400 in unfair charges which I am now fighting (and will win!).
As the £1500 credit charge debt is extremely dubious because of the cca, does anyone think that I could fight this?
