    Angry Confused and miffed!

    Hello all,

    can someone please advise me?

I had a barclaycard back in 2005 for which hey have never supplied a true CCA, the debt was then and continues to be in dispute.

There is a default on my credit file from a 1st crediticon limited which was last updated in July of this year.

    My questions are

as I have no CCA can barclaycard add information on my credit file?

as I have no CCA and no knowledge of 1st Credit can they add informtion to my credit file

and if not how can I get them removed.

    Many thanks

    Hi Lisa,

Did you send a formal CCA request to get sight of your credit agreement, enclosing the £1 fee. Did they respond and, if so, was it just their terms and conditionsicon they sent you.

If the account was formally In Dispute, they should NOT add defaults or try to collect on the a/c. However, experience shows that the banks and their DCAicon Collection Monkeys do not play by the rules, hoping that no-one will notice.
