Did you send a formal CCA request to get sight of your credit agreement, enclosing the £1 fee. Did they respond and, if so, was it just their terms and conditions they sent you.
If the account was formally In Dispute, they should NOT add defaults or try to collect on the a/c. However, experience shows that the banks and their DCA Collection Monkeys do not play by the rules, hoping that no-one will notice.
