I got a case re: harassment. Those who successfully win, it would be nice to have the case number! then one could quote in defence or claim - all comments appreciated. kindest to all

angel1, I am in the thows with fosicon re: MBNA. MBNA put up my interst rate without notice, to nearly 40%. This was because i asked them not to send me a new credit card. I noticed huge increase monthly payment. They stated, "oh, your introductory rate ended, cos you cancelled your CC" I asked when did my introductory rate end, they said, don't know, it's on your CCA". Did not comply with CCA request, did not comply with SARicon request. Hence my complaint sent to FOS. The FOS have absolutely, no interesticon in supporting the law re: Consumer Credit ACT. The advisor said, we hve no interests in legal aspects, we only look at the break down in the relationship and act to create fairness to BOTH parties. MBNA, offered me XXXXX plus interest in compensation. FOS gave me a very strict time frame in which to agree the offer. I complained, how, can i agree to an offer of compensation, when i have no idea of what the final figure will be. FOS advisor, complained, but you spend the money. I replied, how can one spend compounded interest and default charges? silence!!! Food for thought girls and guys out there!!!!

That is more or less, the same crap kinda letter i got from fosicon. Further, i note, FOS decision is LEGALLY BINDING. Can i or should i assume, that if i accept the offer of compensation from xx and there remains an outstanding balance, even though no contract exists. does this mean i can still be taken to court by xxx. I could just write pages about the crap re: barclaycard et al. Barclaycard gave me the same crap, You only need our Terms and Conditons and oh, your credit card agreement starts when we send you, your credit card. My agrument is this, either credit cards are regulated by the Consumer Credit Act 1974 or they are not! It appears from the way credit card companies behave, they are not regulated by this act, re: refuse to comply CCA or SARicon etc. Further, Barclaycard, totally refuse to supply SARicon, i have also senf them CPR18 they refused this too! as anyone been able to get SAR from Barclaycard, in particular log of calls and transcript of calls. I spoke to solcitor when he heard barclaycard, was too afraid to take the case. WE MUST BEAT THESE BULLIES THEY THINK THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW!

hiya Candylee as i am conscious this is Gary68 thread with his journey with barclaycard, have you started your own thread so you can get specific answers to all your concerns??

if not start a thread and copy your requests there too

i myself have had info from my Subject access requesticon but i did send recorded delivery and i also sent them a reminder letter giving them only 7 days to comply again recorded delivery and which they did , but i assured them that if i didnt get my info a complaint would have gone to the information commissioner office - thus this is another reason for you to start your own thread for each of your creditors and we can all leave you info replies

anyway im sure gary will also respond to your queries, laters angel x

Im happy to help with support and my own thoughts, but if I offer any thoughts to your problems please take it as from my life experience only and not of any legal standing. Always take further advice from the legal experts in your final action.

my new motto is,,,",Taking back control of your life and home - such peace is priceless"

This is all due to truecall device , have a serious peek at this you will be thankful like I am x laters angel

    Hi Candylee,

I've taken your posts off Gary68's thread to avoid further hijacking. You can use this thread to discuss your case further - just add it to your Favorites Or Bookmark it.

What stage are you at with BC - have you sent them a SARicon or a CCA request.

Are there any penalty charges or PPIicon to get back from BC, with interesticon.
