Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
CAN ANYONE HELP? ? ? I BAUGHT THE LAW PACK AND SENT THE FIRST LETTER TO THE RBS ASKING THEM TO RETURN THE FIRST £750.00 BACK THEY HAVE SENT A LETTER BACK SAYING NO IT IS WITHIN THEIR RIGHTS AND THAT THE OFFICE OF FAIR TRADING ARE TALKING ABOUT CREDIDT CARD CHARGES NOT OVERDRAWN BANK CHARGES.
hOWEVER, THEY HAVE OFFERED ME £120.00 BUT I WOULD HAVE TO SIGN SAYING I WILL NOT ASK FOR ANYMORE. i FEEL THIS IS A DROP IN TH OCEAN COMPARED TO THE £4000.00 ODDS I HAVE PAID TO THEM.
cOULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME DOES THAT MEAN I CAN NO LONGER TRY AND RECLAIM THE MONEY BACK NOW. hAVE I MADE A MISTEAK.
No you haven't made a mistake. This is quite normal. Continue with the step by step approach outlined in the FAQs and you will be fine. You can accept their offer UNCONDITIONALLY but personally I wouldn't bother would just ignore the offer and go for the whole amount. Read the FAQs and you'll be fine.
Good luck.
