Hi,
I've seen on a few letters here people quote the following in letters to the bank when they dispute their accout.
You are reminded that the following applies in relation to this alleged EggCard Agreement.
You: * are not entitled, while the dispute continues, to enforce the agreement.
* may not demand any payment on the account, nor am I obliged to offer you any payment.
* may not add further charges or interestto the account.
* may not pass the account to a third party.
* may not register any information is respect of the account with any credit reference agency.
* may not issue a default notice related to the account.
Who defines these rights (eg FSA) and what happens if the banks dont adhere to them?
Thanks,
