hi guys, i recieved a cheque today for 589.71, PPI redress payment on my old preference account.
the card was opened jan 2004 and was paid off nov 2007. i paid 360 towards ppi and the card had a 28.8 apr on it.
does this figure make sense??? i managed to speak to someone on the phone regarding the interest payments and she said that figure includes all the payments i made and the interest. i had it worked out at £1500 or so.
ill have to call customer relations that dealt with this and speak to the guy that handled my case i think
whilst having a look through the old paperwork i have just found a letter that the card was attatched too. it states that this is NOT a credit card????
then why am i paying PPI on that then? and does that make me void from recieving any contractual interest?
