Thread: Insurance cover added to my Freemans account without my knowledge.

Hello, Please could anyone advise me on the following: I recieved a statement from my Freemans catalogue account and was not familiar with them having been used to doing all online. I noticed a payment on there which was for abt £46 so i called them to query. The gentleman i spoke with wasnt to sure what it was but thought it was an insurance that covered my account should i not be able to meet y payments for whatever reason. And that was that. I was a little annoyed but didnt take it any further. several months down the line and my situation is that i am having some financial difficulty for various reasons and called freemans and asked what i would need to do should i not be able to meet my payments for the next couple of months. I then recieved about 3 weeks later via post a letter with T&C from Complete Care cover with a headline "making sure you are completley covered" When i read through the details i was not very happy and believe i have been tricked and deliberatley misled. Please can you offer any advise.
