    Hi,
You have posted this in the PPIicon section so I'm assuming you are claiming back the PPI.

Was it mis-sold in any way?

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

What I would do is send the A&L a SARicon asking for everything they hold but specify that you want all transcripts of phone callsicon made or received.
Putting pressure on a customer to buy something is, in my opinion, a no-no.

If you need help with a SARicon, just shout.

Alliance and Leicester are one of the biggest culprits for the mis selling of PPIicon and had themselves a hefty fine because of it.
You may want to state that in your claim. I did and i received all PPI back with no problems at all.
Thay shouldn't be a tough nut to crack.
As Silverfox says though you do need that SARicon for copies of all communication. So wait till you have that before sending your letter

Please do not PM me for advice as it may be sometime before I can respond.

Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.

I'd have to agree, admittedly i now have an A&L current and savings account so it was probably in their interesticon to settle but I found them to be pretty much a walk in the park.

Borrowed a letter off of here and followed up with the lbaicon, 3 weeks later current account credited.

Easiest one (I think) would be to show that no benefit would be provided...... are you unemployed, self employed, part time. Medical history, hospitalisation etc etc....... many threads and advice here from **won** threads. Don't give up, they'll cave in if you have a sound case.
