Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Not sure where to start here, bottom line I have seen all about claiming back PPI. So I sent Egg the standard letter downloaded from moneysavingexpert.com
They responded very quickly to say they had recieved my complaint.
4 weeks passed and another letter arrived to say they were still looking into my complaint.
Another 4 weeks passed and low and behold another letter saying still looking into my complaint. I already knew that if it had not been correctly dealt with and had not had a satisfactory explanation I could take it to the FSO. In the letter to me, they had told me that as they have not given me an explanation that I could take it to the FSO.
So the question here is are they calling my bluff and hoping I roll off into the sunset or do I give them more time, if I give them more time how much do I give them.
They most likely are fobbong you off but its your choice whether to go straight to the fos or carry on, you do have a time limit of 6 months from the date of their final response to complain to the fos but if you have all of your data you could start the ball rolling with the fos at least then you would be in the queue so to speak
