Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Because of my financial difficulties, ltsb closed my Ltd Co bank a/c. I am the sole director.
My 18yr old son has offered to become a director. This would then allow me to resign as director & he would then be the sole director & hopefully then cn open a new Ltd Co bank a/c.
Problem though is that he only turned 18 in Feb this year so is probably not on the electoral role yet. He hasn't got any credit history obviously so would a check on the CRA's by a bank put him in a good position? He doesn't want to borrow any money - simply open an a/c in the business name.
We filled in the form from the council for voting with his details on it but I don't know when the electoral register is updated & I'm not sure if a bank would open any a/c if he's not on the electoral register. If that is the case, how should he go about it?
Also, will a check with CRA's reveal my shocking credit history as we live at the same address but have different names?
