HI
I had a loan with Abbey and now it has been handed to capquest for collection as i have other dealings with credit cards that are not enforcible and i am now on pension credit and living in furnished housing with nil assets and i did notice that capquest threaten to make people bankrupt guess i would be best to let them and saving me getting money myself is there any difference between going bankrupt and made bankrupt
thanks finley
Yes, if they make you bankrupt they have to pay the fees, if you go bankrupt you pay the fees upfront before the hearing.

hi no debt is only 3 years old and have others which add up to about £25 k in total was self employed till a year ago then became ill so just have pension credit now thats 130 per week so really does not make much odds to me if they do want to make me bankrupt as i am not likely to want credit again anyway

hi
I made an offer of £3.00 per month to capquest as i am on pension credit, but they do not reply to my letter saying yes or no but just keep sending me more threats i live in rented furnished housing,i take they will need to get a ccj before they try to take any of my items
any advice
thanks
fin
Have you tried going through the CCCS instead? Capquest might take more notice of a nofitication from the CCCS than they will of you making the offer yourself. I found that previously.
hi
i have offered £3.00 per month and they have just ignored my offer do they have to get a ccj against me to be allowed to take my belongings and and do they have to give notice of county court summons so i can offer same amount to court, as i live in rented furnished housing guess they can not take any furniture
thanks fin
Give them a call and they will arrange a suitable time to call you back. They advise you on the best steps for your situation and if a debt management plan is the best option for you, then they write to your creditors with an offer for each. Thereafter, your money goes directly to them and they forward it on. They become the first point of call with your creditors also.
Just give them a ring really, they can talk you through everything. You say this particular debt is 3 years old. What about the others, and have you tried CCA'ing them at all?
