I know there was another thread on this, but I didn't wish to intrude on their thread.
Basically I was with Abbey(prev National & provincial) from mid 1990s upto end of 2000, when I was a very bad boy, and left them owing a fair amount of money, not to mention plenty of bounced cheques. Basically I disappeared, so they never got in contact with me, I was in a bad place and at a bad time.
They sold debts on to DCAs like Lowells and 1st credit, who are trying to pursue, I know the score on this. It's staute barred.
Can I claim for any bank charges on this case or is it not worth digging up an old corpse and creating trouble for myself?????
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
