Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have sent the DPA letter and received one year's worth of statements plus the letter saying that the rest is held on microfiche etc. I have paid £10. I then sent another letter asking for the last six years statements (less of course the one year that I have already received) and the on the 2nd August, the day 40 days was up, received a letter saying that they were sorry I was unhappy and that they would write to me in one month telling me what they were going to do.
What shall I do now? Wait? or send the interim letter asking for the one year's charges back? Feeling a bit muddled......
There is another thread with other example letters re non compliance with the DPA
