Thread: Reclaim Credit Card PPI - Would appreciate some help

good morning

I've got a number of paid off Egg Credit Cards where I paid PPI each month. In at least 2 cases this insurance failed to pay when I was made redundant as I wasn't in receipt of Unemployment Benefit.

How far back can I claim for a refund of these premiums -is it 6 years as with bank charges?

also - as the minimum monthly payment was always made and that payment seems to cover the interest and the PPI I'm assuming that there's no interest to be added to the claim.

If anyone could advise it would be much appreciated

I spent a while creating a spreadsheet then realised that I should use the calculation spreadsheet from the forum. Started on that but must be doing something wrong as the numbers don't seem anything like another post I saw earlier today. It doesn't seem to be accruing interest beyond the month of the charge (unless I'm completely misunderstanding the numbers )

any suggestions on how I can check it would be appreciated

can you believe that I can't get it right?

sorry to be a Numpty but my amounts are different each month (for the credit cards)
and the same each month (I guess) for the Loan agreements.

if you could possibly help or explain to me in idiot proof language then I'd be extremely grateful
