Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
The OFT has asked that each signatory of the petition contact the OFT confirming they signed the petition or would have if they found it in time and limit the complaint to specifics with a summary of the behaviour of MBNA while in dispute.
"As the Creator of the E-Petition, we would be grateful if you could provide us with the contact details of the other signatories in order that we can contact them individually for details of their complaints about their experiences with MBNA if they have not already complained to the OFT. Alternatively, I would be grateful if you could consider asking each signatory to write to me directly with this information. We can then consider the details of their complaints in addition to yours and any other complaints we may receive about MBNA."
Please therefore ask everyone to send an email headed
Mauricetura has asked me to post the above as the OFT have taken an interest in the MBNA petition.
If anyone has time please spread this to the respondents to the petition.
Thanks

The OFT response indicates that even if you missed signing the petition you should still contact them if you have been harrased by MBNA. Who hasn't!
