    Default Defaults

    Hi everyone,

Dont know if this is in the right section but here goes

I recently just got home a few weeks ago from greece after visiting my sick and now deceased father, I stayed there with my parents for over 6 mths and without thinking forgot to sort my finances out with my credit cards and so on, Now after returning to uk and back to work i have now had 5 defaults applied to my credit file and is now stopping me getting a mortage.

My life is going from bad to worse and i was wondering if there is anything i can do to get them removed or help me with getting a lender that will understand my problem

    Thanks for listining x

    Andrew

Try your bank to see if you can arrange a loan to pay off these debts otherwise arrange to pay them back what you can afford.

As for the defaults if they have been registered in accordance with your agreement due to non-payment there is not much you can do am afraid. Your best bet is getting them paid off and getting them marked as satisfied.
