Lloyds Tsb Ppi Issue

Can any one help me,

I have asked Lloyds icon

tsb to send me copies of a mortgage we had with them 5 years ago at a previous address, as i want to claim back PPI icon

.

I have not got the original paperwork, agreement number etc.

I have supplied address and dates of the mortgage icon

but today i got the reply.

Unfortunately we are unable to investigate the complaint raised because we cannot find any agreements or accounts for you.

I would have thought my address and dates would have been ok

IMHO I would of thought a name and address would of flagged up any accounts.

Have you sent a Subject access request icon

with the statutory £10 search fee.

If not that is the way to go and if you have i would make a complaint to the ICO

Hi mhill

We had a similar problem with ltsb icon

regarding PPI icon

on a couple of old, settled loans. In our case we had all the original paperwork including account numbers, but they did exactly the same thing to us and said they were unable to trace any agreements or accounts as we hadn't provided a recognised account number

We had to re-send the documentation five times in the end - each time they returned it saying something similar, and asking us to provide further supporting evidence if we had it - god knows what else we could have sent??? At one point they referred to the amount of time that had passed since these loans were taken out (early 2000's) - which I think was the real crux of the matter.

After several weeks of this to-ing and fro-ing we contacted the fos icon

who basically told them to stop playing silly s*ds and get on with investigating our complaint. Even after that they sent our paperwork back yet again so we filed our complaint with FOS who are now investigating for us.

I should definitely take PF's advice and do a SAR icon

- that way they have to send you everything - although be prepared for further delaying tactics from LTSB with that also!

can i give u another bit of advice for your security never sign your posts with your name and is your login name your name if so i would send a PM to site team and get it changed as the financial industry do read these boards as it is an open forum and i would not wish them to get an upper hand on the members make it as hard as possible for them is the key

You welcome I only have the security of you data in mind and we do not want to give the financial industry a headstart because as i said they do read these boards as guests.

I had this problem while getting advice for a court case i had coming up.

If you hit the read triangle to the left that will alert site team so just ask there to get your login name changed.
