Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi I am a new user and would welcome some help from other users.
I have a letter from RBS admitting that they cannot find my loan agreement and do not have sufficient data to recreate it. They go on to say that they are unable to take steps to enforce repayment if I do not meet my obligations.
I would like to know what steps I can take to get the agreement written off entirely or if I can actually look to recover some or all of the money I have paid in the past.
Although they cannot provide an enforceable agreement the debt does still exist, it's just that they cannot take any legal route to recover the money.
If you have had unfair charges added to the a/c you can reclaim them. You would need to send a SAR to get copies of your statements to find out what they are.
