Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have had my account open since 2004, I have just phoned them requesting my statements and they would like £3 for ever statement.
I have seen in some threads that they charge £3 for once before march 2004 but they want sevonty odd quid for all my charges.
ps. for Halifax bank i didnt need to write your letter plus £10, i just called up and they said they are sending 5 years worth of statements (£5 charge) i didnt mention why i was requesting this. i will post this in halifax board if and when i get the statements,
hope some one can advise me on these barclaycard statements
I suggest the first thing you need to do is to spend some time reading through the FAQs, including the step-by-step guide.
When you have done this you will see that you do not ask for copy statements but make a request under the DPA for a list of charges incurred.
Good luck with your claim.
