    Default If Cca

    Hi there

Just got a CCA from IF (only a week past the 12+2) and I don't like the look of it one bit.

    1. no sig from me or them, in fact nowhere that a sig could be placed, apart from boxes for a confirmation of cancellation and a box to sign if you wished to take out PPIicon
    2. They sent 2 almost identical 'agreements' one with Halifax as their party and with the address at which I was living at the time I took out the card, another from Bank of Scotlandicon with my current address.

It is essentially identical to Carpinjoy's CCA on another thread.
They say in the covering letter that they have 'satisfied their obligation to provide a copy of the executed agreement under section 78.'

They therefore claim the agreement is fully enforceable and they will continue to treat it as such.

    What should I do next?

    Natwest Credit Card- £850- WON!!!
Natwest Current Account- £380 (in 1 month!)- On Hold
    Mint- £250- WON!!!
Egg- Still waiting on list of charges
CAP1- Still waiting on list of charges
    HSBC current account- On hold
    IF- waiting...
    Barclaycard- £124 WON!!!

And now, using what I've learnt from you wonderful people, to CCA the lot of them! (well credit cards at least)

Hi Keasby, I have followed you over from another thread

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...eceived-5.html

Unfortunately you will have realised that whatever you write to these people will be ignored. However, if you believe your agreement is just so much waste paper, then you can send the letter in the following link.

    http://www.consumerforums.com/resour...cation-is-sent

If you are able to scan in your document so that other CAGers can comment, that would be a great help. Please remember to remove anything that might identify you.

When the Liberals and Conservatives were in opposition, they both agreed that banks should pay back high bank charges to customers. Nothing seems to have happened since they came into power as a coalition. PPI Insurance has been sorted. Now they should turn their attention to bank charges and help customers get exorbitant charges refunded.
