i have had three loans from welcome with the added PPI adding to around £2500. i have seen the horror storys regarding welcome when people contact them so i have went straight through the fos is that the right thing to do, also how long am i looking till welcome gives me it back many thanks for any replys

I doubt they will look into your complaint because the fos rules state that you have to take up the complaint with the business yourself first then if you get no response after 8 weeks have passed and/or you get a refusal or deadlock letter they will take it on.

When can we look at your complaint?
We can do this if:
the business has sent you a letter with its final answer to your complaint, but you're still unhappy or
the business has had eight weeks since you complained but it has not sent you its final answer.
If you have had the final answer and you are still not happy, tell us as soon as you can. Don't wait any longer than six months after you get the final answer or we won't be able to help.
i phoned them up before because i was worried that i had jumped the gun, and she explaned to me that all they have done is wrote a letter to welcome explaining i had made a complaint about PPI and i wanted it back. The lady at fos said i now have to wait upto 8 weeks for a responce/desision from welcome if im not happy with the outcome from welcome then i go back to FOS and they then kick on from there about getting me my money back.Is what she has done right and the right way to do it.

yep i have a 88 case no for it.so should i expect to have to contact the fos again in 8 weeks or will welcome settle in the 8 weeks lol i think i know the answer to that alredy many thanks for any replys
i hope so my luck isnt always that good,infact knowning my luck i will be the exeption lol i hope not like.i was toldto get the loan i had to have the PPI thats why they automaticly have it on the forms.i would be nice to get it back like i could really come in handy for xmas. thanks for any replys
