Hello all
I had a Egg credit card and an egg loan pre 2005 both have been with DCA for 18 months since reading these forums i have realised I have a course of action because egg were taking unasked for PPI for months when I first got the credit card before i realised they were taking payments each month for PPI (it was all internet based and i was without pc for a while) when i realised that this money was being taken I rang them and gave them a mouthful about it they just apologised and stopped.
My question is how can I get the info on PPI payments taken and to check my agreements do I CCA or Subject access request the DCA or Egg?
Thanks any help that enables a refund and I pledge another donation to site.
As Maroondevo says S.A.R them, template letter in the stickys at the top of this thread just edit to suit your needs.
Enclose the statutory fee of £10 then sit back and wait as it will take 40 days + 3 postage days this too is statutory so while you are waiting its a good time to read other threads and the information in the stickys at the top of forum.
Egg where fined heavily by the FSA for bad mis-selling practices so this may go in your favour.
Anymore questions just post here and someone will be along to answer.
