    Default Barclaycard CCA request

    Hello all,
thought i would start a thread for my Barclaycard CCA request.
Reqest sent 15th August, letter received second class post on 22nd Aug with a statement of account on the letter confirming receipt of the CCA request almost as an afterthought and a copy of terms and conditionsicon from 199*.
The letter does suggest that they will tray and locate the agreement and send it to me however, the T&C sent are generic and not specific!
Awaiting BC to forward the agreement. Times up this sat 29th Aug... tick....tock....tick... tock...

    Hi Calshan,

If they fail to respond on time, send this to put the a/c in dispute - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...ml#post1821561

Also, read other threads here in the BC forum to see what is happening with other cases where BC are refusing to send out Credit Agreements.

Are there penalty charges or PPIicon to reclaim on this a/c.

We've had a few phone callsicon and letters from them at work for some of our clients and guess what sorry can't find copy of CCA account closed. Win for our clients, sorry can't be specific about age of these as I only get to see somethings no access to other parts of the cases. Lets keep our fingers crossed that yours is like our clients.

another set of terms and conditionsicon received, different from the 1996 set, these appear to be more recent.
Have not complied with the CCA request.
Any advice on what to do next?

    Hi Calshan,

If you've read other threads here, you'll see many CAGgers are in the same position as you, receiving only T&C's in response to your CCA request.

It's up to you really as to what you do next. Stop paying if you want but be ready for an onslaught of phone callsicon and postal demands.

But I'd get all the statements together and see what penalty charges you can reclaim. If you don't have them, send off a SARicon.

Also, look at the CPR strategy at Link No2 in my signatureicon below.
