Looking For Some Help, Have Had A RBS Credit Card Since 1996 Months Ago I Requested A Copy Of My Cca, This Was Eventually Sent And I Discovered I Had Not Ticked For PPI But They Have Continued To Add This For 13 Years.
I Have Complained To Rbs Eventually They Replied And Have Said That As I Have Had The Account So Long It Is Up To Me To Raise These Concerns Within A Reasonable Amount Of Time , And Due To A Significant Amount Of Time Passing And Because I Have Not Complained Before They Are Unable To Complete An Investigation Into My Concerns.
Surely They Must Be Liable, Any Ideas On My Next Move???????
It doesnt matter how long ago it was, you have only just become aware, due to publicity, that you were mis sold. RBS are obliged to look into your complaint regarding this.
They are hoping you will give up and go away. Dont.
If you have the information you require to make a claim already, then pop all the figures into a spreadsheet and start the process. If not, then you are going to need to invest £10.00 in a Subject access request.
Have a look at the stikkies at the beginning of this forum where you will find lots of useful advice on how to proceed.

Now they should turn their attention to bank charges and help customers get exorbitant charges refunded.
