back in 2004 purchased via wcf, in 2005 money problems and so forth. still 5k left to pay on car, was reprossesed then sold at auction for
50.00!!!, now this is still on credit file,
young and naive at time, we were never informed of auction sold cost, i can not recall any default notices. in a pickle want to resolve and im sure they have done this all wrong, what can i do to find out if they acted wrong and so forth.
personally, i would send a SAR request and enclose the £10 fee to comliance department requesting all information held on your agreement / account. There are SAR template letters on this site.
From what i have read on this site, the agreements are quite poor, i have one where they have even included the option to purchase fee on the total credit fee, so they get me paying interest on an optional fee! (must be enforceable!)
I am requesting a copy of the CCA as i am in a different position to you, however, a SAR request shgould give you all the information you need to find out if there are unenforceable issues you can challenge
