Default Kev Vs NatWest (on behalf of GF) **WON**

    Hi all.
I finally had enough of Natwesticon dipping their grubby hands into my girlfriends bank account and helping themselves to her hard earned cash. So I told her about this site and with her permission set off on the long and winding road to NatWest redemption. After going through the motions (and getting to speak to Mr Higley on the phone) we went up to Norwich county courticon to put in a claim for £466. Now she’s just waiting to get a reply from the court to let her know when NatWest will be served.
I’ll be interested to see if they file a defence seeing as Mr Higley took this kind of personal after I spoke (not in any way aggressively or abusive) to him on the phone. I think I dented his ego as he tried to side step my questions and when that didn’t work he gave me the silent treatment. But when asked to provide a break down of the charges he then got aggressive and ended the call. I wish I had a way of recording that conversation. Oh well.

Ok Natwesticon were served on the 10th of August but so far i've heard nothing back from them. I know it's only been 6 days but how long do they normally take to acknowledge that they've been served or do they like to leave it right to the last min?

    Cheers guys.

My GF is over the moon at the moment and she's asked me to start waging war on the rest of her banks (Barclaysicon and Halifaxicon).

I'm happy to, as her parents and mine thought i was crazy and didn't believe you could do all this. I geuss they're so used to being ripped off by the banks that it's become second nature to them to just accept what the banks are doing as they couldn't possibly do anything wrong. They are banks after all.

I hope now they can see the light and maybe look at joining us in our great quest

    NatWest:
    **£466.28 Settled In Full 21/08/06**
    Halifax:

    GE Money:
    **£48 settled In Full 19/09/06**
    Barclays Bank:
**Full settlement of £90 offered and accepted on 24/10/06**
    Alliance & Leicester:
**£170 Refunded In Full 17/09/07 (Charges due to bank error but still had to fight them for almost 3 weeks to get back)**

    Fantastic well done.

Did you file a claim on the 4th of August? As I filed my claim with MCOL last night so I am just wondering if they settled that quick.

    Thanks guys.....

    To answer some questions:

Msrobinson, i filed on the 2nd at the court and they served Natwesticon on the 10th (took a bit longer than i thought). As my GF is recieving some benifits, she didn't have to pay any fee's. NatWest sent the letter/cheque on the 18th and Cobbets(is that right?) never got involved.

Isobel Daly, just check when they got served and hopefully you'll get your cash in the next few days.

Good luck to everyone else who's taking on the banks. Remember you WILL win
