Default Loan secured with a charging order

    Hi

I have been reading the forums over the last few days but am struggling to find information to help me,

I took out a £15,000 loan with alliance & Leicester around 1999 due to circumstance I defaulted on the loan and last year was taken to the courts which eventually led to a charging order being placed on my property.

I do not have the loan agreement and am worried that the bank will not supply me with the details as they already have the loan enforced with the ccj

Is there any way around this….

Just the thought that there’s a possibility of clearing this debt is a massive weight of my shoulders….

    Regards

    Hi

I have today received from the Subject access requesticon from alliance and Leicester

The covering letter states that the information available is limited as the loan was taken out over 6 yearsicon ago.

The information that is no longer available is –

    Loan Purpose
    Marital status
    Dependents
    Residential status
    Job Title
    Time Employed
    Monthly outgoings….

    Information they supplied –

    Address as at application
    Loan account number
    Date account opened (30.06.01)
    Loan amount
    Monthly payments
    Date Of Birth
    Payment method for loan

Can anyone please advise what steps I need to take next…..do I have a case, is it beyond the means of someone like me fighting it.

I eagerly await advice from the experienced members of the group…
