Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
We all know about the OFT stating that charges above £12 would be unfair etc.
Inevitably, as ive read on another thread, either the government or OFT are gonna step in and make a ruling regarding bank charges and what they can charge etc.
My ponder is this, suppose there is a ruling which levies charges at £12, for arguments sake. Does anyone think the banks will try and reclaim the already reclaimed charges back and should we maybe put some away just in case?
Its just a thought that occurred to me and other views would be welcome.
These charges have been stolen from you by the banks, because they are unlawful.
They are unlawful NOW. No amount of regulations or law changing can make the punitive charges lawful.
When you get your charges back, think of it as recovering ( edit ) money. The banks will never have a lawful claim on it

what i meant was if a ruling is made which legalises bank carges at say £12, could we all become liable to pay back some of what we are or have claimed.
im only asking for other peoples opinions on this, coz in theory, if that was the case we could all be back in debt again
