HI, WONDER IF ANYONE CAN HELP. I bought some tickets from ebay (person from isle of man) for T in the Park this year at a cost of £1120.00. The person has not responded at all and I was wondering if it is possible to take these people to court or if there is anything I can do other that turn up at theyre door. Ebay and paypalicon have told me that they cannot do anything for me.

If you have paid by paypalicon you should be covered. They have to send the goods by trackable post (registered or signed for) i believe not standard post. They have to be able to prove they sent it. But is your paypal address confirmed and theirs.

If it was by CC usually they can get money back providing it is within 3 months of the transaction. Provide them with as much details as possible, ie emails etc, etc, and they will refund you the money

    Are you sure.

I claimed money back from them for a new TV when one of those extended warranty companies went bust four years and eleven months into the five year warranty. Took a bit of arguing but I even managed to get more out of them for my preparation time.

PUTTING IT IN WRITING & KEEPING COPIES IS A MUST FOR SUCCESS

Certainly with NW CC if you paid by CC. If it is cash or debit card it is different.

They'll have a hard time arguing that when the OP has just given them over 1k.

Would also suggest maybe talking to the police and refuse to get fobbed off by them saying its a civil matter.

you can make a claim through paypalicon. Start a case on their website, there is a complaints procedure for not receiving goods.

LloydsTSB Settled. Charges £645, they closed my account, paid me up and left it there.

HSBC Settled. Charges £545, as good will they wrote off my entire £740.00 debt! SEE: (http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...tml#post254075)

evay work hand in hand with paypalicon on this:

    http://pages.ebay.com/help/tp/inr-snad-process.html

dO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES CLOSE THE CASE UNTIL YOU ARE HOLDING THE TICKETS AND ARE HAPPY THEY ARE AUTHENTIC. YOU CANNOT GO BACK ON A CASE ONCE IT IS CLOSED!
