i wrote to my bank to claim unfair charges, on the 14th day i recieved a letter stating that until the test case was decided the will not do anything is there anything i can do ?
Thats good advice from marcaz, If you should wait for the test case to conclude then you can claim 6 years from that date, this might go on a while longer, so issue your claim now.

Currently the fsa waiver means charges back to 27th July 2001 can be reclaimed.
"in relation to such complaints, if the outcome of the test case produces a result that is more favourable to the complainant, the firm must take all reasonable steps to pay any difference in the amount of compensation actually received by the complainant and that that the complainant would have been entitled if his claim has not been settled by the firm then; and"
my claim goes back about three years, the letter from Nationwide states that any court claims will be not proceed until the test case has been resolved.
any ideas on the next letter i sfould send.
have they supplied all bank statements going back up to six years yet.
It's not 6 years, the clock stopped on 27th July 2007 on the announcement of the OFT test case so it is 6 years from that date so july 2001 to present day.
Do I have to quote fsa waiver on that as well?
