I think its a good idea to refuse to deal with Close Assistance. Was in the same predicament with them last week when they insisted to do a home visit regarding my arrears with GMAC and they did come and filled in a 6-month arrears payment schedule. I have to pay over £320/month for the next 6 months but my instalment with GMAC was £158! I havent made my first payment to CA due 24/7/09 and want to get out of this. How can I go about it please? I have already paid GMAC over £6500 out of just over £10000 for the car. Please help. Tks.
