Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi just heard about all this today and have a couple of queries regarding it. Does anyone know if any of the cases against the Bank of Scotland have made it all the way to court or do they normally settle before this ? Do they threaten to close your account or demand your overdraught back ?
Also is it worth chasing credit card companies for charges over the years and does this work in the same way ?
Of course they are paying our..........they all are.
Not a single one have actually defended action to date.
How quickly you get your money depends on a lot of things.
Most important one is that you are prepared informed and have a real desire to take them on.
Card penalties are also claimable .....look in the main threads at the end of the bank list.
