    Default need your advice

i got a car on hire purchase, i have been paying regularly for 1yr now, still have 3yrs to go.
I want to go back to the university for study, already got an offer and I will start by sept. this mean that i have to reduce my working time since I have to spend 4day for my school.
You can see that it will become impossible for me to pay for my car.
My question is is there any way I can defer payment or even ask for a much low monthly payment form the company i got the loan from?
If you are in my possition what will you do?

If you cant keep up the payments then you must contact the lender and see if they are prepared to lenghten the term or take the car back; however you will still have to pay them something.
You can hand the car back without penalty if you have paid 50% of the loan amount. so they may accept you payin the difference between what you paid to date and the 50% now.
