Angry HALIFAX EXTRA - extra what? apart from charges

I have been consistently getting charges on my Halifaxicon account each month, twice a month for the past five years. These charges are £28.00 and £30.00 a time, i don't believe these charges are justifiable as it is supposed to be an interst free overdrafticon which i set up and paid £100 to do so. I never knew anything could be done about it until recently when I saw the information on the t.v, i am now unemployed due to pregnancy and cannot afford these charges.

    Hi kittyu2

Welcome to the CAGicon/BAG forums and dont worry if you follow the info on here you will get it back and the charges are UNLAWFUL !!

Start by reading the FAQ's and the step by step on the main page of the forums and then read as much as you can over a couple of days and when your ready start your own thread in the Halifaxicon bank forums and you will find loads of other users that have been though or have just started the process.

It maybe worth starting another account with a differant bank as it is possible the Halifax may close your account down if you try and get your charges back a good one is the Natwesticon step account and very easy to get even if you are not working.

Good luck and dont rush this

    Welly
