Angry Halifax not responding to Access Request

I've sent the Halifaxicon the SARicon and waited 42 days, I got a letter confirming receipt and the details would be sent later. I sent a SARicon failure letter on the 27th July and still no response, what do I do now. How do I start a claim in the county courticon? These people make me spit.. .

I've already given them 7 days or would start court proceedings, if I give them another 7, would that not contradict and weaken my first threat.

Hi. Stick to your timescale and take the next step, if you read my thread, carry on, it looks like their latest tactic, most probably testing to see if you give up or persue them, personally i've gone into bloodhound mode, good luck.

After speaking to someone at telephone banking last night (40 days is up on our request too) they have apparently been told that the data protection department is unable to meet the 40 day timescale at the moment.

What exactly is so complicated about printing duplicate statements that it takes 40 days is anybodies guess.

Hubbys Account - SETTLED IN FULL
20th May - DPA SAR sent. Statements received 15th June - £1957.29 owed!
24th June - Prelim Letter sent. 10% offer received on 4th July. Indicated it could be accepted as partial settlement towards the full amount.
12th July - LBA sent. 27th July 25% (ish) offer received.
27th July - Moneyclaim submitted. Acknowledged with intent to defend 31st July.
    3rd August - £2,365.80 paid in full.

    Joint Account
24th June - DPA SAR sent.

    My Account
3rd August - DPA SAR sent.

They are trying same thing with me, but i have opened another bank account with Natwesticon. So i feel as if they have to deal with me now if they want any money. I am now in control of my money. If they want to make me wait , i will do the same, I will continue to write , phone, and email till they respond.
