Thread: Orange dispute

Hi,

I had two orange phones on the same contract up until around May 2008.
As the contracts were coming up for renewal/cancellation, I phoned up and cancelled and the lady arranged it all with me on the phone.

Since then, I have moved house and changed providers.

I have recently had a look at my credit report and there is a £247 Orange charge on my report, I have no idea where this has come from or why its there - apparently it was last updated on 21/06/2009.

I'm not sure who I need to phone to sort this out - can't seem to find a number for Orange anywhere (not for customers)...

I don't have to pay this do I?

Yes, she sent me out a letter ... one of those 'Sorry you're leaving us' things...

I don't still have it as I have moved twice since and I considered the account closed!

might be an idea to send orange an SAR

prob turn up in that

You should have got TWO letters, one for each mobile cancelled. Until they have noted the cancellation, toy remain liable for any accrued charges.
