Anyone claiming or successfully claimed charges from Alliance & Leicester?
I have now sent 2 letters from the Consumer Action Group Webiste templates, one requesting statements etc and one requesting for all of the charges back with a summary of charges. I have just received a blunt letter from them stating that my charges are fair.

Best thing to do mate is goto the A+L forum and start your own thread and ask in there you will find other that have had the same!
As for the letter they are all stating to through there rattles out of the prams and just stick to your guns and dont let them put you off and thats why you need to be with other A+L users
Remember you are in the right and they are UNLAWFUL with the charges and they know it!!

if YOU gave THEM 14 days in your prelim request then stick to it and send letter before action on 15th day.

Also be aware they probably WILL close your account so make sure you have another one set up.(parachute account)

As suggested start threads in the A & L forums.
Stick to guidelines-carry on with your claim so that you get in the queue.
Be aware that as part of the OFT waiver - banks have been given extensions to the normal 8 weeks period laid down for complaint resolution,unless you are suffering and can show hardship-or that your claim falls outside the OFT test case criteria.
So you will maybe not get a reply to your 14 day lba ...instead get auto updates about their obligations while the TC is ongoing.
