Thread: britannia parking tickets?

hi all,
im looking for a little help plz my partener has just recieved a parking ticket in a waitrose car park, he had left his car there for 2hrs 13 minutes.
he has driven around the car park only to find 1 sign in the whole of the car park, (in sheffield off eccasall road) it is a big one, the only sign was on 1 of 3 entrances saying only 2 hrs parking max... he didnt enter at this entrance.
it is britannia parking, who have issues the ticket to his windscreen.
is this likely to persue or give up, is it worth paying up and accepting he was in the wrong or fighting.

Neither!!

Do not pay up and "fighting" is a waste of time and effort. As pin1onu says, simply ignore anything you get off them is the easiest route.

Don't reply - they will think you are a "hooked fish".

Only respond to stamped court papers - not the threat of we "may" issue proceedings............

My last threatogram from one of these PPC's - "with firm instructions to commence Litigation. + interest..fees..etc, was received some 7 months ago, and I'm still waiting.

It's a [problem]. Do not pay. Ignore all the rubbish they will send you. They will go away after 5 or 6 letters.
