i am wondering if anyone has had any dealings with a online shop called gadgets uk? i have made a purchase from them, they hAve taken payment immediatly, £59.00 but have not sent the goods!
they are not replying to emails that i have sent, and when i ring their contact tel number, no one replys to any of the calls, its all voicemail!
I HAVE REQUESTED THEY CALL ME BACK OR EMAIL ME, BUT NO RESPONSE.
THEY ARE STILL TRADING ONLINE. i,m wondering if anyone can advise me what my next step should be to either get my goods, or better still, get my money back...

Your next step is to write to them with a demand that they refund your purchase money. Give them 7 days only.

At the end of those 7 days, send them a 'letter before action' giving them 7 more days saying that no further request will be made and that you will issue court proceedings to recover the funds without further notice.

It will cost about £35 quid to issue and can be done on line at:

You will, of course, also claim the costs back as well.

If your not willing to go to court, then don't bother with the letter before action, but you should still send them the demand giving them 7 days.

Make all letters Recorded Delivery.
