Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
i brought an electric shaver from argos and was told i couldnt return the item unless it was faulty. i got the item home and unpackaged to to use but its got a european two pin plug instead the uk three pin plug, i looked on the packaging, in the catalogue etc and it doesnt say anywhere that it doesnt come with a standard plug, i took it back to the store for a refund and they said they wouldnt refund it for hygene reasons, its clearly not been used because i cant plug it in!
i know the easiest thing to do would be just to buy an adaptor and keep the item, but i was just wondering where i stand on this do argos have the right to sell non standard uk items without informing customers first and do i have the right to a refund?
a sort of fire-fighting role here. Hate HFC & their past compulsory PPI ethos

Re: argos eletrical items with european plugs
no razor comes with a three pin plug! ever!
its for health and safety reasons in the bathroom, you are not allowed to have anything bar an isolated supply in 'wet areas'. been that way since 1960's!
hence shavers etc are double insulated
