    Default LDK Security - help!

    Hi guys,

    I'm new to this forum and am probably about to ask something that is asked all the time so apologies in advance.

    I have read various posts on these forums regarding LDK Security.

    They have recently given me a parking fineicon.

    I have appealed but find their customer services to be pretty appalling.

    The advice given elsewhere on this forum seems to be to completely ignore them (as a "dubious" company by the sounds of previous posts), and any subsequent letters from solicitors etc as the "fine" cannot be enforced. There are also suggestions their solicitors are [problem]mers.

    Is my interpretation of the general advice correct? Should I ignore this fine and any subsequent contact from the company?

    It isn't a fine. There is no appeals procedure. There is no customer services. There is no such thing as a valid offence.

    It's a [problem]. You just have an unenforceable invoice.

    Don't contact them again and ignore all their junkmail.

    I have been on the other thread - "Anybody come across LDK Security?
    follow that advise. I am at my Final Warning "Solicitor's" letter sent on 8/06/2009 but nothing received since.

    noticed ldk group have Aproved contractor LOGO on their website (appeals page) but they are not on SIA list of approved contractors, i thought this was a big big no no?
