Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
With PPI mis-selling, it is when you became aware of the mis-selling.

I have a claim with solicitors i have just recieved a letter stating they can't pursue these loans because there repaid & over 6 years.
doesn't look good if they have got this wrong.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope you are not paying these solicitors.
They are completely wrong.

IM not paying for the solicitors, they are funded for loss & claim their cost's from the lender.
but my confidence in them now is shot.
will post more after i have read your thread.
Hi Jogs,
Thanks for that this is what i thought,
they had all the info for months deciding if i had a case, then sent me forms to fill in for each loan.
Each set off forms stated they were claiming for mis-selling of PPI & secret commissions. Now 6-7 weeks after i returned the forms their moving the goal posts saying they can't claim for PPi because they were repaid & over six years.
really don't no what's going on now, im in court on thursday with blackhorse for repossession, they said they have wrote to the lender asking to adjourn until the PPi & other issue's are resolved.
If blackhorse don't agree to this, they have asked me to take their letter to court & ask the judge for an adjournment.
I thought they would represent me in court, but they claim my repossession hearing is entirely a seperate issue.
Funny thing is i believe they owe me more back in PPi they i owe them on the loan.
In a RIGHT mess do you think i should post up on the legal forum for advice.

Hello masmit,
You have left it rather late to be posting if you are in court for repossesion on thursday
You would certainly not receive any PPI refund to offset any outstanding debts in this time the best I can suggest is to seek advice from the legal forum and/repossession forum. here are the links....
I have no legal training and the advice I offer is a matter of support. Before you commit to any Legal action you are advised to contact a qualified legal practitioner. ------------------------------------------------
Bank charge successes:
Halifax - Full settlement incl interest.

PPI Successes
PPI 4 settlements on 9 loans. FOS involvement on 7 added on the 8 % Statutory interest another 30% to both.
2 claims settled in full with LV without FOS involvement.
2 claims settled in full with HSBC without FOS involvement
PPI Claims ongoing with:
Cap one Now with the FOS
Barclays. Paid up today 24/04/10 cheque received for over £4,500 and in the bank.
LTSB still have to decide on this as their SAR production was abysmal. Papers data mixed up documents missing etc
Please do not PM me for advice as it may be sometime before I can respond.
Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.
