I received an NIP for Careless Driving after driving through a village in a 30 limit (no Police in sight - but I was later forced to the side of the road by a resident and reported to the Police I assume (?!)).
I replied to the NIP to confirm I was driving.
I've now had a request from Police to present, MOT, Insurance and Licence, but the vehicle they refer to has a typoin the reg no. (Clerical error?)
I've got 7 days to respond - do I ignore it cause it's not my car, point out their error or what?
Advice please. Thanks
