    Default Multiple debts, multiple stresses

    OK guys'n'gals, i'm a fresher on here so be gentle, lol!

    Quick outline of me;

    I pay minimal amounts to many debt agencies for my wife and I ncluding to;
    Lowell
    Wescott
    Carters
    Robinson Wey
    Eversheds
    Cabot
    CLF and probably a few more.
    Not to mention first parties who haven't passed things on, Barclaycard and Northern Rockicon.

    I have court orders against me from Eversheds (repossessed home mortgageicon paying about £28 a month, and Northen Rock, paying £30 a month).

    I get threats on a weekly basis and have done for months if not years.

    I want to know, if possible, how I stand with getting some of these guys off my back. I am getting probably 12 to 15 calls a day from probably 4 or 5 firms and I am not answering them as they are never polite and are always aggressive. As I have been paying these guys monthly, some only £1 a month, where do I stand with the CCA letter issue. Am I already acknowledging the debt so unable to use this action? Or can I go down that line and rid myself of a continued stress.
    I also get sick of companies offering me "amazing" deals of 50%, or 65% or in the case of Eversheds, 90% discounts.
    If I could pay that, I'd be spreading it all around guys.

    So, any advice is good advice. I acknowledge on here that I used the credit and morally I should repay the credit. However, I never borrowed off half of these guys initially and don't feel so morally bound.

    Sorry to hear about your problems, i was in a similar situation a couple of years ago, after ignoring my debts for about a year and becoming extremely depressed i entered into an IVA, which releaved the matter for me a great deal, however, i have recently come across this site, knowing what i know now, i feel i could do better myself at managing my own debts.

    Take time to read through the many threads before deciding, you will also get some excellent help from the many knowledgable users.

    Hope you get things sorted.
