    Default the futures bright but not with orange

    Hi am having trouble with orangeicon internet provider for the past month my internet speed has been down after many phone callsicon and changing of equipment i was told by bt engineer that there was nothing wrong with my line and it was orange who were not providing enough band width for the amount of customers in the area what can i do about this ? if anything

    Change supplier? (Once your minimum term is up). There is no guarantee of a minimum speed, all sales are based on connections 'Up to', so you're really being told that your connection will NEVER exceed the agreed rate. Which is a different ballgame. ADSL has been a technical compromise from the start, additionally contention rates (the number of users using the 'pipe' to your and other ISPs) can be 20:1 so if you use your connection when everyone else does, the link will crawl.
