    Hi all,

    is there anyone here in CAGicon that has managed to go BR and keep their job whilst working within an Investment bank/hedge fund ? (i'm talking about a back office/non regulated adminicon type position)?

    Not a chance my brother went BR who worked in banking and very soon after had his contract ended

    now he is driving a HGV

    I think you'll need to check your specific terms & conditions. I would imagine that the firm is likely to have quite strict policies in place. Does your firm have an employment advisory resource? If not can you speak to your HR dept?

    It's most unlikely to keep a job in the sector whether it's front of house or in back.

    I downloaded an application form from the banking sector and didn't bother to apply as on the application you had to state if you were bankrupt, on a IVA or dmpicon. Obviously there was no point as it was pretty clear from them asking that I'd not get offered an interview. I suppose the assume the chances are you might put your hand in the till to get out of a mess (there has been reports of it happening over the years.)
